So what exactly do the folks at Dunkproductions produce? Mostly, we create a fair bit of chaos. But occasionally we mix in some movie reviews, crazy cakes, karate chops, and soccer kicks. Really, we're just a Minneapolis based family of four, loving eachother and trying to make it through each day.

The Old-Time Lamp
Gracie and I have been reading the Little House on the Prairie series. She's really enjoying them and is interested in all things "old-timey". Jen and Chris and the little ones sent her an oil lamp, complete with a wick and glass cover. She beamed when she saw it and we had to light it right away. Now when we read, she points out all of the pictures of kerosene lamps and says "just like mine"! Thanks ABQ cousins!

Gracie, I love your new oil lamp! When I was a kid, I would visit my aunt's summer cottage. and it had no electricity. There were oil lamps in all the rooms, and I loved reading by the light of the lamps. I liked how you could make the flame higher or lower, raising the wick by turning the knob. I will send a picture of the summer cottage to your mom so you can see what the cottage looked like.
Love,

Yay! I'm so glad she likes the lamp, and what a beautiful photo.
I still owe Alex a gift. Tell him I didn't forget him, life just got a little crazy for a while.
