Spawn of Yocom Day Three

Happy 4th of July! We had a fantastic day with Dad and Ann and siblings in Fort Atkinson. From attending the small town ice-cream social to watching the backyard fireworks, we had a good old-fashioned time.

Spawn of Yocom Day One

Jen and her kids flew in to Minneapolis to drive with us to the 4th of July gathering at Dad and Ann's in Fort. We had a crazy long and complex struggle with our rental van that ended up with our taking possession of a 15 passenger van that reminded all of us of a church van. Andre named it Dennis after a character in Thomas the Tank. We decided to christen it the Spawn of Yocom van, in honor of all 4 Yocom kids gathering for firecrackers and fun. Here are first day photos:

Six - Live Long and Prosper

We celebrated Gracie's birthday at Grandma's house with a Spock Star Trek cake. She was so proud of it. Six years old!

Ethan had his mohawk dyed blue. Here are some shots of him outside of Grandma's house during Gracie's birthday party.

PUMP IT UP - For Two!

Last year, Alex had his tenth birthday party at PUMP IT UP!, an inflatable wonderland perfect for entertaining large numbers on hyper children for two hours. This year, both Gracie and Alex wanted to have their parties at PUMP IT UP, so for the first time, we held a joint kid birthday party for them. It turned out great - kids and parents alike enjoyed the party. No clean up either! And, I let the PUMP IT UP gang supply the cake. Easy.
